Kurdistan Lime Industrial Factory
Kurdistan Industrial Lime Factory was put into operation in 2013, 5 km from Bijar-Takab road. The main activity of this factory is the production, distribution and sale of slaked, micronized and hydrated lime, which currently produces and supplies an average of 260 tons of quicklime and 120 tons of hydrated lime every day. The high production capacity of this factory is thanks to modern equipment and the use of the latest technologies.
This factory has an operating license from the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade. In addition to supplying domestic markets, the products of this factory are also exported to Armenia and Iraq. The limestone needed by this factory is also extracted from the nearby mine, whose exploitation license belongs to the same company, with high purity, and then processed by a fixed standing furnace, which is a product of Switzerland.
